Essential Environmental Services History

What is Essential Environmental Services?

EES is a unique environmental service company created in response to the request of several other waste disposal industry companies to safely manage unique (and also routine) chemical materials generated by manufacturing companies, universities, and local, state, and federal facilities. These chemicals were often those left behind (regardless of the waste disposal company) during waste pickups because of their "too difficult to handle or too difficult to bother" nature. EES began operations in 1993 and has provided these "essential services" to over 200 waste generators on the eastern seaboard. EES has serviced over 50 Fortune 500 companies, government agencies (USEPA, CDC), along with many major colleges and universities.

EES performs labpackaging, unknown chemical identification, and other waste disposal services needed by it's clients.  EES’s consultative approach has gained the confidence of its customers and led to further company growth into the areas of providing transportation and disposal services.

EES has chosen to remain a small service oriented company, with an emphasis on customer service and partnership driven programs. EES is led by it creator Ray Chestnut with over 20 years of environmental and regulatory experience.
